Which standard books should I prefer for SSC exam preparation? Tips to crack the exam?

2. Quicker mathematics by M Tyra
3. English Grammar by Wren and Martin
4. Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis
5. Essential English Grammar by Raymond Murphy
6. Objective General English-SP BAKSHI
7. Objective General English by Dr. RS Aggarwal & Shri Vikas Aggarwal
8. Reasoning by RS Agarwal
9. Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by Kiran Publication
10. Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey
11. Non Verbal Reasoning by BS Sijwali & Indu Sijwali
12. Lucent General Knowledge
13. Any monthly magazine, such as Pratiyogita Darpan, Wizard or Chronicle
