How should I prepare for IES? Which books to prefer? I am a student of electronics and telecommunication engineering
I m student of Electronics and tele. engg. nw in 3 rd year. I want to do preparation for IES. So, which books i should prefer?? I want to know standard books.. Author name and publications.... and is there any books for conventional papers of IES????

IES - INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC once every year for appointment of Engineers in various Dept. under Central Govt.
Graduate Engineers belongs to Indian National within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate is eligible for IES exam. The candidate appearing for final B.Tech. is also eligible for IES. The selection is through written exam which is based on the subjects like Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Telecommunication branch followed by personal inteview. As you are from Electronics & Telecommunication branch, you can write IES exam by opting for your branch.
