Re: What is the age limit for ex-serviceman in SSC entrance?
SSC conducts SSC CGL exam every year for the recruitment under Group B and Group C post. You are an Indian army soldier and retire after 2 years and your age will be 35 years at that time.
>>The maximum age limit for SSC CGL exam under different posts is 30 years. Relaxation of 3 years is given to Ex-service men students. So you are eligible for SSC CGL exam up to age of 33 years. If you are planning to take the exam after retirement then you are not eligible for the exam at that time as you cross the age limit. >>In my opinion, you have to appear the test at this time and prepare for exam firstly if you clear the exam then you have to think about it. You are surprised to know that the notification for this year has published. If you still have any doubt then you can go through the detailed advertisement of this year |

Re: What is the age limit for ex-serviceman in SSC entrance?
The age criteria for the Ex-servicemen in Staff Selection Commission (SSC) entrance exam is given below.
The age limit for the application of SSC entrance exams is 18-27 years. However, the age relaxation is applicable. For ex servicemen, the age relaxation for Group B & C posts is 3 years for General, 06 years for OBC, 08 years for SC/ ST category. As your age is 35 years, you can apply for some of the posts notified by the Staff Selection Commission. |

Re: What is the age limit for ex-serviceman in SSC entrance?
Relaxation of 3 years in age limit is provided to ex-servicemen after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
The number of years you have served in military will be deducted from your age and an extra relaxation of 3 years is also provided. |
