I want to know about the exam pattern of Intelligence Bureau for ACIO post. So please provide me information regarding this?

The entrance examination for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer is conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs once every year and has following pattern:

1. Objective test: 100 marks and 100 questions.

2. Descriptive Test: 50 marks, one out of three question to be written.

Objective Test contains questions from English Comprehension, Mathematical ability, Reasoning, General Awareness and Knowledge. Descriptive test is conducted to test English writing skills and analytical ability.

Total time for written test is 100 minutes.

Exam Pattern of Intelligence Bureau of ACIO Post:

Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau conducts the examination for the recruitment of ACIO(Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) Posts. Here is the detailed examination pattern of IB ACIO Recruitment examination.

Written Examination is basically conducted and has two papers. There are given below.

1) Paper I (Objective Type)

2) Paper II (Descriptive Type)

Duration (Total) - 100 Minutes for both the papers

I) Paper I:
Reasoning, GK Section, Comprehension Part and Quantitative Aptitude

II) Paper II:
English Capabilities and Analytical Questions

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for Intelligence Bureau exam for ACIO post.

Your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

Pattern for IB exam:

Paper I :- Paper I is consist of Mathematical Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Reasoning.

Paper II is the descriptive paper which will test your English Language.
