UPSC government exam is conducted by the government for Statistics student. A masters in statistics or math's is required to apply for the post. The SSC also carries out a recruitment process as to appoint eligible candidates into the Statistical Investigators post.

There's an exam called iss ( indian statistical service).the officers are grade 1 civil servants and pay is same as ias. this exam can only be written by msc statistics people.
