i have completed my graduation i statistics from pune university....
after that i worked in bpo sector for nearly 2 and half years..
was not able to complete my post graduation due to some financial problems...
are there any government exams for statistics graduate??
so that i can explore my career in government and also are there any jobs in government sector for statistics graduates??
please let me know soon...

Yeah there is an exam called ISS conducted by UPSC

ISS stands for Indian Statistical services this exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

This exam is conducted under Ministry of Economic affairs. and postings under national sample survey etc.,

the eligibility for this exam is the age of the applicant must be 21 years-30 years

Notification of exams will be in June of every year
and the examination will be held in November of every year

Coming to education qualifications
You must have a Post Grade Degree from an Indian university in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics.

The exam is conducted in two stage one is written test then followed with personal interview

This is all about the Indian Statistical service

Almost all exams for government sector is conducted by UPSC, SSC, UGC.
UPSC conducts CSAT, for top class officer as IAS, IFS, IPS and other alloyed services.if the candidate does not meet the required marks for the above posts, then other governmental services are available according to the graduation qualifications (stream).
