What are the government job opportunities available after completion of BAMS course?


Sir/Mam,
I have completed my internship for BAMS in the month of april , i would like to know how ,when and where i can apply for government jobs and wht all posts are allotted for BAMS Doctors? Can you please let me know the details on this? Thanks!

As you have completed your BAMS course hence you can apply as medical officer in private as well as government Ayurvedic hospitals, Baba Ramdev Hospital, Patanjali hospitals, Unani medicines, Public Health centres etc.

You can also work in Pharmaceutical industries etc.

You can also go in medical transcription, medical tourism, medical event management, medical photography, medical journalism, medical advisor etc.

Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha )

Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda )

Teaching in Government Colleges

Teaching in Ayurvedic Institutes

Pharmacist at government hosypitals

pharmacist at Government Ayurvedic Dispensaries.

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery.

Government job opportunities available after BAMS:-


**You can seek jobs in public sector

**You can works in government hospitals, pharmaceutical labs, colleges, etc

**You can also serve as duty doctors in hospitals.

Some of the government jobs after B.A.M.S are::::::::::::>>>>

->>Pharmacist at Government Ayurveda Dispensaries (GAD)

After completion of BAMS degree, you can apply for banking sector as PO and Clerical post.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam.

Your age should be 20 to 28 years.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI PO exam.

Your age should be 20 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST ==> 5 years
OBC ==> 3 years
PWD ==> 10 years
Ex-Servicemen ==> 5 years
Widows ==> 9 years
