Re: Whether 2 months are enough to prepare for Staff Selection Commission LDC recruitment exam? Reference books for preparation?
No dear 2 months is not enough to crack the CHSL Examination for the post of Lower Division Clerk. Minimum you must prepare about 4 months for correct study.
And the level of examination is quite better when compared with the CGL Question paper. But continuous preparation for 2 months will give you the better outputs regarding the examination. You can try to plan your time for the examination. For this you need to select the Good books for Preparation and here we are providing you the List of Reference books for preparation. --> General Knowledge book by " Lucent " --> Quantitative Aptitude by " R.S Agarwal " --> Reasoning Ability by " R.s. Agarwal " --> English Language by " S.P.Bakshi " These are one of the best books which are useful for preparation. You need to concentrate more on the General Awareness and Current Affairs. And one more thing you need to remember is try to concentrate on the Previous years question papers. The Pattern of the examination will be based on Previous year concepts. |

Re: Whether 2 months are enough to prepare for Staff Selection Commission LDC recruitment exam? Reference books for preparation?
SSC will conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2015 around September-October of the year that is why you have a lot of time to prepare for this examination but if you want to prepare in just two months then also you can prepare well for this test.
First of all you must know the examination pattern of objective type test of SSC CHSL exam 2015 : 01. Reasoning Ability - 50 questions for 50 marks. 02. English Language - 50 questions for 50 marks. 03. Quantitive Aptitude - 50 questions for 50 marks. 04. General Awareness - 50 questions for 50 marks. All candidates declared qualified in objective type test will have to face descriptive type test and in descriptive type test, candidates have to write short essays, precis writing, letter/ application etc. writing then only they will be qualified in descriptive test. After qualifying both of these stages, candidates will be called for computer/ skill test of typing on systems and passing in this test is also compulsory. Now it comes to preparation that how and what to prepare to qualify this exam with good marks so I would say that, first of all you should have some good books of each subject separately to study in reference and detail to collect in depth knowledge of the subject. I have listed some good books used in preparation for SSC exams : Objective English by SP Bakshi and Tata Mc Graw Hill Mathematics and Aptitude by Lucent Publication Reasoning Ability by Perfect and Kiran Publication General Knowledge by Unique Publishers Practice Work book of Kiran publication, Dhankar publication, Arihant Publication etc. When you buy these books then read complete syllabus and tick in the books with topic names and start from easy subject means if Reasoning is easy for you then reasoning must be completed in 10 days that means you have finish 2-3 topics each day. After Reasoning, go to a tough subject like Mathematics or English Language and select topics given in the list and those topics also should be completed within 15 days with revision. Finally you have General Awareness left and 1 + month's time is available so I would say that give about 6 hours everyday to read general awareness. After completing syllabus with these books, you need to get the practice tests and books already bought by you based on latest pattern. If you buy 3 practice books then those books may contain about 40-50 practice tests and these 40-50 practice tests should be completed more than 3 times before examination means each set should be solved thrice to get perfect in a particular subject with its knowledge that which type of questions are being asked. One more thing is there, you need to collect some previous year papers and solve all those papers so you will get idea and read according to the requirement so final conclusion says that if you are practiced harder then nothing can stop you from getting selected in exam. |

Re: Whether 2 months are enough to prepare for Staff Selection Commission LDC recruitment exam? Reference books for preparation?
Yes, 2 months preparation is sufficient to prepare for Staff Selection Commission LDC Recruitment Examination if you can use the time effectively. There are total of 4 sections namely,
Part I: General Intelligence-50 Questions-50 Marks Part II: English Language-50 Questions-50 Marks Part III: Quantitative Aptitude-50 Questions-50 Marks Part IV: General Awareness-50 Questions-50 Marks Duration of Exam - 2 Hours Negative Marking - 0.25 mark for each wrong answer I suggest you leave the General Awareness topic and concentrate very well on other 3 sections are good scoring sections. Best Books required to prepare for SSC CHSL (LDC) Exam: >> SSC Elementary and Advanced Matric Level and Other Competitive Exams by Kiran Prakashan. >> SSC Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination by "Unique Publishers" >> Objective General English by "S.P.Bhakshi" >> Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning by R.S.Agarwal >> Quantitative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwal >> For General Knowledge Section - Lucent's General Knowledge |
