No,you can study science stream by a distance mode .

If you have taken the admission to graduation in Science stream to regular college then it is compulsory to attend college classes. Missing a class should be a rare occurrence, something that happens at most once or twice a semester. If you miss more than this then it will affect your learning and have a negative effect on your performance and your grade.

°°° There are some courses in which it is compulsory for the candidates to attend the regular classes and these courses are not offered via correspondence or private mode however, there are some universities where you can take admission in correspondence courses but then, you will have to attend the practical classes on monthly basis or as per the criteria of the particular university or college otherwise you have to attend the regular classes because there are some courses where you have to attend the practicals.

As your talking about science stream hence, you have to attend the regular classes because this is a practical based subject.

However, reputed universities are there where you can take admission in correspondence mode such as:

If you are doing graduation in science stream from private college so it is compulsory to attend college and give minimum 75% attendance but if it is government college so you don't need to go college regularly but you need to attend college once in a while.

For graduation, if you don't want to attend the college, you can opt for any course in the mode of distance learning.

There are many colleges and universities that offer private or distance learning mode of graduation. You can take the admission in the stream of your choice.

But, you will get admission according to your category such as GENERAL,SC/ST or OBC.

It depends on the university from which you are pursuing a graduation course. If the university allows you to do private graduation then you do not need to attend college but if you are a regular student then you need to attend your college regularly. You must have passed 12th from any board to get admission in college.

As Science students have to go through lab practicals , it's beneficial for them to attend college . As you can get the facility of laboratory anywhere where one can perform their practicals related to biology, chemistry and physics .
So it's must for a candidate to be regular in their college days.

If you donot want to attend the college than you can pursue the course in correspondence.

Not all the course in science stream is offered in the correspondence.
