Hi,

I work as a recruiter in a company. One of the candidates have produced a bachelor's engineering degree certificate from Indian Navy. He has been awarded this certificate because of completion of more than 5 years service in Indian Navy and a Diploma in Industrial Engineering. The diploma in Industrial Engineering is a full time program.

Kindly let me know if the Bachelor in Engineering from Indian Navy obtained in this manner will be approved by AICTE as a Bachelor's degree.

The B.E Engineering course offered by Indian Navy is not approved by AICTE. However, It will be approved by Indian Government. It is valid for all over India. So, please don't worry. There is good scope for Bachelor of Engineering in both the Government and Private sectors offered by the Indian Navy.
