Is it better to pursue BCA from IP university with rank of 400 or to go for eco. honours from evening college from DU?

Today BCA or Bachelor's of Computer Application has lost most of its charm in the IT industry. So in my opinion it is better to do Economics honors from DU or Delhi University. Delhi University is a well university having lot of course curriculum. Among them Economics honors is very famous. Although Economics honors sounds like a mere general stream. But only after this general stream if you go for banking jobs, you can crack it easily through IBPS examinations. Also after doing Economics honors if you pass out MBA then you can make it into the leading business sectors like TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM etc. and your salary will be around 12-15 lac a year.
So choose Economics honors from Delhi University evening session.
