Basically, Choosing the course is depends upon your future aspiration,

---> If you're aspiring to become a Financial Analyst or To apply for ICFAI Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India, then you may apply for B.A Economics course after completing your 12th Standard.

---> If you're aspiring to become Chartered Accountant or Cost and Work Accountant (or) To apply for ICAI/ICWAI course then you may apply for B.Com Hons course after completing your 12th standard.

12th standard is the basic educational qualification to apply for both B.A Economics and B.Com Hons course.

So, you can Choose any one of the course based on your future aspiration.

It depends upon your interest.

You need to decide which field appeals you the most, whether it is Economics/ finance or the subjects like accountancy.

Once you are sure with your interest then you will not feel any difficulty in choosing one of the two subjects.
