Re: Can I do Economics honours without Maths in 12th class?
Quote:
For doing the Economics Honours course after +2 ,it is provided in many colleges and there qualification which are needed to be possessed to do this course. The education qualification which is needed to be satisfied in order to apply for the course is that the candidate must have completed +2 with Economics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. As without maths in +2,you will be ineligible for doing this course. So,it is better that you continue your studies with Maths as subject so that you will be eligible for applying for the course . |

I doubt whether maths is an optional subject in Bcom as some colleges offer options when it comes to choosing the subject. If you want to do honors in economics and do not want math subject then you should check out in your institute. However, you can complete your graduation degree with economics (hons).

Re: Can I do Economics honours without Maths in 12th class?
Hello friend,
Yeah,Till last two years maths is must for doing B.Com Honours. But now the Universities are changing there rule, but this is permitted to some universities only. Some still require maths to be a subject in their 12th standard. So it's better you to choose maths subject only so it will help you to be eligible in all universities. If you are really not interested in maths then you can choose any course without maths, but you will get admission in limited universities which will allow students without maths in 12th standard. Don't worry because the biggest university like Delhi University have changed the rules and taking non-maths students,so within two years may be all universities bring this rule. Hope this information is helpful to you........................... |
