Can I apply to study B.Tech in IGNOU being a Civil Diploma Engineer of KSOU?

I have completed my Civil Engineering Diploma course from KSOU. Can I apply for B.Tech course from IGNOU? Kindly tell me asap.

B.Tech is not offered in distance mode and also if you do it in distance mode then it will not be approved by AICTE. Therefore, it will be better for you to go for a regular B.Tech course.

You have done Diploma in civil engineering from KSOU which is an open university. This may create problem for you because KSOU is not allowed to offer Engineering courses.

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for B.Tech after completing a Diploma in Computer Science. Those candidates who have completed their 12th standard or Diploma course are eligible to apply. Those candidates who have completed their Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent are eligible. Being a Diploma student, you can directly eligible to apply for 2nd year B. Tech through Lateral entry.
