Can women choose BPT( Bachelor of Physiotherapy) ? if yes, what are the carrer options after completing BPT? I mean we see male counterparts in this sector but what about us

Yes surely women are also eligible for Physiotherapy course. You can see many women physiotherapist on foreign countries. In India this field is not so popular among girls that is why you don't see any women.

For BPT course you must have 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks to become eligible for entrance examination for admission into top colleges.

You can get jobs in various organisation after completion. There is requirement of physiotherapists in various organisations in India.

Physiotherapists work on following types of problems and there is a very high demand of skilled physiotherapists in India.

1. Post accident treatment and rehabilitation

2. Back and neck pain

3. Problems affecting children including cerebral palsy and spina bifida

4. Cancer and palliative care

5. Pregnancy related problems such as back pain

6. Stress incontinence

7. Work-related injuries

8. Heart/lung conditions like asthma, obstructive airways diseases (COPD) and other breathing difficulties

9. Sports injuries

10. Brain injuries (example: strokes) and other neurological problems

Can we do BPT after completion of Bsc (physiotherapy) or Msc (physiotherapy)?
