Can I know about the important dates of BITSAT-2017? I want to apply in BITSAT of next year. Can you tell me about the eligibility criteria also?

BITS ( Birala Institute of Technology and Science ) conducts the entrance test known as BITSAT for admission of candidates in the bachelor degree course.

There is no official date announcement from the institute for the examination. So, wait till the announcement.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is that the candidate must have passed ( 2016 ) or appearing for 10+2 board examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology with proficiency in English and have minimum 75% in it with 60% in each of three subjects separately.

No, you cannot know the important dates for BITSAT which will be conducted by BITS for admission.

As, till today there is no official announcement regarding the examination date. So, you have to wait till the official announcement of date.

The common eligibility to appear for examination is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 last year that is in 2016 or going to appear in 2017 with minimum 75% in PCM and have minimum 60% in each of them.

It is necessary that the candidate must have proficiency in English.

The basic educational qualification required to apply for BITSAT 2017 Examination.

* Admit Card of BITSAT 2017 - 17th April to 30th April 2017
* Online Test of BITSAT 2017 - 14th May to 29th May 2017
* Announcement of Wait List and Admit List - 1st July, 2017

According to the notification released by the BITS, the eligibility criteria for a candidate appearing in the BITSAT is as follows :

* The candidate should have passed the 12th standard with at least 80% marks aggregate.

* The minimum marks in PCM taking together should be 60%

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are very much eligible for writing the BITSAT examination.

To be eligible to apply for BITSAT 2017 examination, you should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects with 75% aggregate marks from a recognised board. The BITSAT 2017 examination notification has not released, so, you can't find the exact dates for BITSAT 2017 examination till the notification is released.

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test and as the name suggests it is an admission test for admission various branches of BITS for B.tech or B.Pharma degree courses.

The only eligibility criteria for appearing in the same examination for admission in B.tech degree is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum of 75% aggregate in their board examination. Further in each of the three subjects mentioned here you must have at least 60% marks.

Where as in case of B.Pharma, the educational requirement remains same as that for B.tech degree only change is the compulsion of Biology as main subject instead of Mathematics.

One thing I would like to mention here that for appearing in BITSAT you must have completed your Class 12th either in 2016 or must be appearing in Class 12th in 2017.

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology Science Aptitude Test. It is entrance examination conducted by BIT for admission of candidates into different disciplines of engineering. Candidate must have scored minimum of 75% marks in board exam and 60 marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to apply for BITSAT exam.

The notification for 2017 BITSAT examination has not been released yet and expected to come in last week of December as per last year trends. It is computer based test.

The date of examination for the BITSAT is not announced till now. The notification for examination will be released in month of January.

So, you have to wait till the January and the examination is most likely to be conducted in May last or June 1st week.

Birla Institute of Technology Science Aptitude Test Eligibility criteria:

*10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with compulsory subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

*Percentage of marks required in 10+2 is 75% aggregate and 60 marks or more in each of subject mentioned above.

Important dates for 2017 BITSAT exam is not declared. Wait for latest notification of this exam.

BITSAT examination is conducted every year for the admission of UG and PG courses. So, to appear for this examination you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> Candidate must have cleared their 10+2 with minimum 75% marks from a recognized board.

> Candidate must have passed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects.

> Candidates who wants to take admission in B.Tech must have passed with Mathematics in 12th and the candidates who wants to take admission in B. Pharm must have passed 12th with Biology and good marks in English.

> Candidates who have passed their 12th examination in the year 2014, cannot apply for this examination.

> Candidates from BITS are not allowed to apply for this examination.

> Candidates who got supplementary in 12th, means candidates who have passed their 12th in 2nd attempt will be taken as the last performance of 12th examination.

Here are the important dates of BITSAT 2017:

Starting of online registration - Last week of December 2016.

Last date of registration - Last week of February 2017.

Correction date of the application form - First week of March 2017.

Allotment of examination centres - Second week of March 2017.

Booking of examination slot - From 3rd week of March 2017.

BITSAT admit card/ hall ticket availability date - From 3rd week of April 2017.

Examination date 2nd week of May 2017.

Admission process - From 2nd week of June 2017.

To apply for BITSAT 2017, you must fulfill following eligibility criteria:

1. Academic qualification required is 12th passed or appearing from a recognized board. Board appearing candidates can also apply for BITSAT.

2. Percentage of marks required is 75 % aggregate and 60% marks or more in each subject Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

You will have to wait for important dates till December. It will come out in December after that, you can apply.

Those candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country are eligible for BITSAT exam 2017. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates must be proficient in English also.
