Dear friends, I am a student of 12th Science studying with NIOS Board. After completing my 12th I want to do BTech(Agriculture Information Technology) Honours. Can you please let me know about that I am eligible to do BTech in this specialization or not?

The eligibility required to study B.Tech(Agriculture Information Technology) in Agriculture College and Research Institute, Coimbatore is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.


The admission to the B.Tech(Agriculture Information Technology) in Agriculture College and Research Institute, Coimbatore is through entrance examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University followed by councelling


The candidates who have completed 12th standard from science stream from National Institute of open Schooling are also eligible to apply for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University entrance examination .

Minimum percentile required in 10+2 are close to 55% marks.

Eligibility to study B.Tech (Agriculture Information Technology) Honours for 12th Science NIOS student are as follows:-
Candidate must have completed their Higher Secondary Education(10+2) with Mathematics and Biology as compulsory subjects from a recognised educational board.
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate in 10+2 level.

You need to have class 12th with PCM stream from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% marks. Admission will be through entrance exam conducted by the concerned university to which the institute is affiliated.
