Hello friends, I have a dream of studying BE(Mining Engineering) from IIEST-Shibpur. I would like to know about the entrance exams through which I can get admission in this course in this university.

IIEST (Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology) is one of the top university offering different degrees in different subjects, one of the course is B.Tech in mining engineering.

B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Mining Engineering is a graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 4 years.

The basic eligibility required for studying this course is a 10+2 or its equivalent education in PCM related stream with minimum 45% from any recognised board.
There is percentage relaxation available for reservation candidates based on the government rules.

The admissions are given based in the entrance exam performance. The university accepts the JEE results.
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted once in every year in the month of April.
You need to apply for the exam by filling the application form with required details and submit it. The application forms will be available in the month of January. You need to qualify the exam in merit for getting admission into the university.

If you want to pursue BE(Mining Engineering) from IIEST-Shibpur, you need to sit in the JEE Mains entrance test. BE(Mining Engineering) in IIEST-Shibpur is a duration of 4 years full time under graduate course. Candidates who have completed 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject with minimum 75% of marks from a recognized board are eligible to sit in the JEE Mains entrance test.
