To become a Neurologist ,an aspirants should do the DO and MD in neurology. Candidates should have done the course from a recognised Medical College and there are many specialisations that and aspirant can take so as to do the program. They can specialise in pediatrics, clinical neurophysiology, neuropathology and neurosurgery disciplines. Those who have completed the MBBS program from a recognised Medical Institute can apply for the PG programs in medicine and there is an entrance test conducted for the selection of eligible candidates for the Master's program. Aspirants can rely upon any of the renowned publications as a part of preparation for the exam.

One who wants to be a neurologist in future has to do a planned study and that is to complete plus one and plus two with medical stream and after passing 12th standard he or she has to complete MBBS course that is of 5 years duration. After successful completion of MBBS he or she has to do MD Neurology in order to become a specialised Neurologist. If you want to study MBBS through a government institute then you have to qualify the entrance exam otherwise you can also go for private study and after that same for MD.
