Yes, TS Chanakya is a good option for B.Sc Nautical Science course. It is a good government college. The placement facilities are good in TS Chanakya. Various shipping companies like Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) recruits from the TS Chanakya. The B.Sc Nautical Science is the good course; the candidates after completion of the course can work as Deck Officer, Marine Engineer, Radio Officer etc. After your graduation you can go onboard and sail, if you get a job. It is a job in the ship (water), so you have to be in the water for many months of a year.
