what is the time period of dcuk cadit coursw in indian merchant navy?

I think you have written incorrect spelling of DECK cadet. As there is not any entry of DCUK cadit in merchant navy. As you can join merchant navy either as an officer or a rating in mainly two specialized fields, i.e. Marine Engineering and Nautical (deck). The nautical field candidates are called as Deck cadets.

A candidate interested for deck cadet course may appear in IIT-JEE exam
and do B.Sc. in Nautical Science from a Merchant Navy training institute then
they can enter as a Deck Cadet.

Course duration
A candidate applying for the deck cadet course is of 3 year degree course in Nautical Science for (10+2) students.

Institutes
There are two best institutes which give training in Merchant navy.

1.T.S. Chanakya, Mumbai which offers a three year degree course leading to B.Sc. in
Nautical Sciences.

2.The Marine Engineering Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata, which gives a four-year
degree course in B.Tech. in Marine Engineering.

As you want to be a deck cadet so you can apply in the T.S. Chanakya institute of Nautical sciences.
