Sir I have completed 12 and I want to become a software engineer so what should prefer between BCS and BCA

You can prefer BCS to become a software engineering.
BCS ia a undergraduate course.Duration of this course is 3 years. Similar options of study is BCA, B.Tech and Engineering.

If you want to be a software engineer, then you should do BCA. Because BCS and BCA both are computer-related different courses.BCS is an undergraduate course in Computer science that is more concept-oriented whereas BCA is an application-oriented course.

What should I prefer BCS or BCA to become a software engineer?

For higher studies and research you should prefer to go for BCS, the graduates are known as Computer Scientist. They also have good job opportunities but many prefer this degree to pursue higher studies. For job preferred students,they should go for B. Tech,the graduates are known as Computer Engineers.

To become a software engineer you have to complete a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology from a recognized university. For a software engineering course, you have to learn programming languages like C, C++, Java, etc. Majoring in computer science will offer you the most useful background for designing software. The theoretical knowledge provided by a traditional computer science degree prepares you for the software engineer.

--- To become a software engineer, you should prefer Bachelors in computer science degree course from a recognised Institute rather than opting for bachelors in computer application.
