I am a student of IIT Kharagpur.I got an intern in BHEL. I want to know whether II ians do intern at BHEL?? I mean is it fine for them?

I depends on your interest and your future goal.

If you are planing to join a PSU after B.Tech, then you might get preference if you aply for BHEL or some other electrical branch PSU.

But if you are planing for MBA/GRE/CAT, then it won't be of much use as you get very light work during 2 months training and you dont learn anything beyond technical details.

Many IITians do internship at PSU to know about the work culture in government sector, officers hierarchy in a govt company, career prospects other than technical work.
