i am doing b tech 3rd yr in elctrical and electronics(eee) in jntu hyderabad. i want to do internship this summer in bhel. plz let me know the procedure to apply.

Well summer training is an important part of the engineering curriculum and everyone needs to get one.

Now first prepare a Resume of yourself and send it along with a request letter to the HR manager of the company where you wish to train.As you said you want to do it from BHEL, so send the request to the HR manager of BHEL.

Now if they send you an acknowledgement letter which means you have been selected for training, then get it signed by the head of your institution, and get a college seal on it.You are also required to obtain a No Objection Certificate from your college which you mst send along with the acknowledgement letter to the company.

Now, BHEL is a huge government organization and many such as yourself, try for training over here and ofcourse they cant allow everyone the opportunity to get training there.

So I suggest you send your resume as soon as possible..
Also, if you have any contacts over there, then it might add to your benefit.

Eligibility:-

1:you should have first class in Engineering Degree from AICTE approved Colleges / recognized Universities with minimum 60% marks in one of the following streams

Electronics or

Electronics & Communication or

Electronics & Telecommunication or

Mechanical or

Computer Science or

Computer Science and Engineering or

Civil Engineering or

Chemical Engineering.

2:you age should be maximum 25 years old. The age relaxation 8 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.

3:Generally,the examination is held in the month of June.

4:Pay scale:minimum of the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/-including DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement etc.

Am studying 2nd year in mechanical engineering in IIT MADRAS. I want to do summer internship in BHEL. But the head of department was not allowing us to do intern in any companies. Can i do internship in BHEL without getting the permission of head of department...??? I have great enthu in doing summer intern in BHEL. If is there any way to get the intern please reply me... to be frank.....it is hard for any normal person to get internship at bhel...
i'm saying it's hard but not impossible....
if you have any reference in bhel then you can get easily ...
not only in bhel ...in any govn sector if you have any reference then it would be easy for you to do internship....
if you dont have any reference then you should be a extra qualified person ...

BHEL is a huge organization that selects only the best of the lot. You need to work hard to focus during interview and internship. There are possibilities that they might consider you for a job.
