Am I eligible to do M.Phil/PhD while secured 55% in distance M.A.(Economics)?

Hello Everyone,
I have done M.A. in Economics through distance learning with 55% marks. I want to do M.Phil/PhD now. So, am I eligible to do this or not? Waiting for your reply!

You have done M.A. in Economics through distance learning with 55% marks so, you are eligible for M.Phil or Ph.D course but your degree must be recognized.

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D/M.Phil course:-

1)Those candidates who have completed masters from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D/M.Phil course.

2)There are no age criteria for Ph.D/M.Phil course.
