Am I eligible to work as assistant professor in Physics in Degree colleges or in Engineering colleges?
I did B.Sc.Physics and M.Sc.Electronic Science from Pune University.
I also cleared UGC NET Exam from Electronic Science. Pl tell me Whether I am eligible to work as assistant professor in Physics in Degree colleges or in Engineering colleges. Since I am staying in Mumbai now & mumbai University don't have B.Sc(Electronics) I am finding it difficult to get a job as assistant professor. Pl tell ma whether I can work as assistant Professor in Electronics in Engineering college? Am I eligible as assistant Professor for B.Sc. IT? |

No, You are not eligible to work as assistant professor in Physics in Degree colleges or in Engineering colleges.
It is must to have post graduation in Physics to teach physics in universities. Yes, You can work as Assistant Professor of Electronics in Engineering colleges. No, You are not eligible to work as Assistant Professor for BSc IT students. |

Yes you are eligible to work as assistant professor in Physics in Degree colleges or in Engineering colleges. Since the eligibility criteria says the candidate must have post-graduation degree and should have cleared NET exam to become a professor. So, you are eligible.
