Can I apply in CSIR/UGC NET to get JRF if studying PhD from local university?

Hello, I am doing PhD in Organic Chemistry from a local university at Dehradun. I have taken admission this year without NET or any entrance exam. But now I want JRF for my PhD. So, can I give CSIR or UGC NET for getting JRF? Is this possible for me?

Yes, it is quite possible for you to apply for CSIR or UGC NET entrance examination after completion of PhD course from a UGC recognized university. If the University from where you are pursuing your PhD course is recognized by UGC, then there will be no problem in applying for CSIR/NET entrance examination.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
