I am a Lecturer in Engineering College in Chennai.
I prefer to do Phd at Anna University?
Can I do it as Part time?

If you have got Master's Degree with 55% marks then you are definitely eligible for Ph.D admission. In most of the Universities admission is based on the performance in the entrance exam. If you perform well in the exam then you will get admission in the program.

If you have qualified exams like NET/SLET then you are eligible for Ph.D admission without any entrance exam. M.Phil qualified candidates are also eligible for direct admission without any entrance exam. If you have 5 years of professional experience in relevant field or a teaching fellowship then also you can apply for admission without entrance exam.
