I done my post graduation in Hindi with first class and my graduation with first class now I want to do phd in Hindi am working as a teacher since last 12 years now I want to know can I do my phd without entrance exam. Can you please provide me the details?

Graduation is not the required qualification if you are looking for admission in Ph.D in Hindi. You must have at least 55% marks in the Master's degree in Hindi or its equivalent qualification for admission in Ph.D programme. Hence, you have to complete Master's degree first then only you can become eligible for admission.

Your professional experience will help you in getting admission in Ph.D without appearing for any entrance exam. You have more than 5 years of experience and this will help you to get exemption from entrance exam if you have done Master's degree with required percentage of marks.

You have completed post graduation degree in Hindi so you are eligible for Ph.D course but you should qualify in UGC NET exam. If once you have qualified in UGC NET exam then you can directly apply to the university for Ph.D course.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.
