Does UGC qualified candidates need to give entrance exam for Ph.D?

Does UGC qualified candidates need to give entrance exam for Ph.D? or it's not required at all? Can we get direct admission for Ph.D? Can you please give me the information on this soon as possible? Right now nothing is clear so some clarity is required in this topic!

Default Re: Does UGC qualified candidates need to give entrance exam for Ph.D?

Those who have got NET/SLET/GATE/JRF qualification are exempted from any other entrance exam. Also, those who have M.Phil qualification or at least 5 years of professional experience are exempted from Ph.D entrance exams.

Master's degree in the given discipline is the required with at least 55% marks for Ph.D admission along with the above qualifications. Therefore, you can take your decision according to your qualification and other scores which are mentioned above.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
