CSIR-NET or UGC-NET, which is to appear for studying PhD in Sericulture for M.Sc postgraduate?
Sir,
I am a candidate of M.Sc in Sericulture from University of Mysore. I did my M.Sc in Sericulture and scored 70% marks and want to do PhD in Sericulture. I want to know which type of exam I can write CSIR-NET or UGC-NET? |

You should opt for UGC-NET ahead of CSIR-NET.
UGC-NET is accepted in all the Universities in India. UGC is the Governing body of all the Universities so it will be best for you if you give the UGC-NET Examination. Also the stipend that is provided to the PhD Scholar is more than the stipend that is provided in case of CSIR-NET. So prepare for the UGC-NET Examination. |
