Diploma in Mass Communication and PhD eligibility
I am a bsc second year student currently, but I want to pursue a career in journalism and mass communication. After bsc I am planning to go for one year diploma in journalism and mass communication. I was wondering if a diploma without a masters will be eligible to enroll for PhD in future. Please guide me.

Eligibility criteria for Diploma in Mass Communication course :-
The following are the eligibility requirements that must be fulfilled for a diploma in mass communication course:- Aspirants must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 12th or equivalent from recognised Institute or Board. Candidates should have studied English as a subject in 12th or equivalent examinations. Students must have excellent communication, listening and writing skills. At the time of admission, the applicant must not have any prior backlogs in any of the subjects taught at the 12th level. Eligibility criteria for PhD Mass Communication course:- Candidates must have completed their post graduation in mass communication from a recognised University. They should also have a minimum percentage of 55% to pursue a PhD. |

For diploma in Mass Communication, candidates must have 12th passed with minimum aggregate 50%marks .
The duration of this course is 1 year Admission procedure is entrance and merit based. For PhD , candidates must have a post graduate degree or MPhil with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university. |

In order to be eligible for PhD programme, candidate must have completed masters in mass communication with atleast 55% marks or above from a recognised university.
Those who have appeared for any National level entrance exam are exempted from university level entrance exam for PhD admission. They directly appear for an interview round for admission purpose. Or else they have to go through an entrance exam as well as interview process. |

Eligibility Criteria for diploma in Mass Communication:-
Candidate must have passed the 10th or 12th from a recognised University. Candidates must scored at least 45% aggregate in their 10th or 12th. The age limit is between 18 to 25 years. Candidate can get admission through entrance examination. Eligibility criteria for PhD in mass communication:- Candidate must have completed their post graduation in mass communication from a recognised University. They should also have a minimum percentage of 55% to pursue a PhD entrance exams like in NRT JRF also require the candidate to have a minimum of 55% during post graduation. |

Candidate must have completed their post-graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized university. They should also have a minimum percentage of 55% to pursue a PhD. Entrance exams like NET JRF also require the candidate to have a minimum of 55% during post-graduation. |

To do PhD you must have a post-graduation degree in India. Most of the colleges grant admission to those students who have a post-graduate degree in hand or MPhil. The minimum qualification required for PhD is a candidate must have a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course and admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test which is usually conducted by the university itself.

Diploma in Mass Communication and PhD eligibility.
The candidate should have completed a post graduation in Journalism or Mass communication with a minimum of 55% marks from any university. The candidate will have to qualify admission test like NET to get admission to this course. |

Diploma in Mass Communication and Ph.D. eligibility.
The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph. D Program shall normally be a two years Masters OR M. Phil Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent Grade in the Master. Admission is merit-based as well as based on the admission test. |
