Default Re: Eligibility criteria of CSIR-JRF for B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) 3rd year student?

You have to complete your B.Tech with at least 60% marks from a AICTE recognized University to become eligible for CSIR NET. You can apply for this exam in the final year or after completion of the B.Tech course.

After qualifying CSIR NET, you will be eligible for JRF, if you fulfill the age criteria. There is age limit for JRF which is 28 years. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

For Lecturership, there is no such age limit and you can use your CSIR NET score withing 2 years. After 2 years the score will be invalid for both JRF and Lecturer jobs in Government colleges.
