Graduation is not sufficient to get admission in a Ph.D program. If you want to get admission in a Ph.D program then you have to complete at least a Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks. There is 5% relaxation in marks available for reserved category candidates.

Therefore, after completion of B.Com you must take admission in a Master's degree and complete it with the above mentioned percentage. Also, try to clear exams like NET/SLET/JRF with a good score so that you are eligible for admission in a reputed college/institute for your Ph.D program.

Since you are a third year B.Com (T.Y.B.Com) graduate, you are not eligible to pursue PhD course with the qualification you have. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for PhD course is, "Master's Degree" or Post Graduate Program from a recognized university. So I suggest you to study Masters degree (M.Com) course after completion of B.Com. After successful completion of M.Com course, you are then required to attempt entrance examinations. You are required to attend entrance examinations like CSIR NET (National Eligibility Test) which is conducted by University Grants Commission or JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) for getting admission into PhD course. Since the basic educational qualification required for Ph.D course is "Masters degree in any discipline", you will be eligible when you pursue M.Com after your B.Com course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
