In which entrance exam I have to appear to study PhD in any college of UP being a M.Sc(Zoology) postgraduate?
hey
i have completed my m.sc in zoology and now i wanted to do phd from college in UP. i m out of india now and i would like to do prepartion for entrance test. can u tell me which entrance i give? |

If you have got M.Sc Zoology with at least 55% marks then only you will be eligible for Ph.D admission. There is relaxation of 5% mark for candidates who belong to reserved category. Normally every University conducts there own screening procedure for Ph.D admission. You can apply for it when the respective University releases the notification.
If you have scores like NET/SLET/JRF then you wil have good chance of getting admission in top Universities. Hence, if possible try to clear any of these exams if you are willing to get admission in a top University. Those who have M.Phil qualification or a teaching fellowship or 5 years of professional experience are also exempted from any entrance exam and can apply for Ph.D admission without any entrance exam. |
