The aspirants can also work as lecturers in colleges. For this it is a must to clear the UGC - NET. The professionals who complete the programme from recognized Universities or colleges can earn good remuneration. The scale of pay will be according to their caliber and the percentage acquired in the qualifying exam. The Union Public Service Commission conducts various tests to recruit candidates for the National Archives jobs. Professionals after completion of the course can expect salaries of Rs.15000/- and above per month in the initial stage itself. The candidates also have the option to pursue their career abroad.
