in anna university or for avoiding the
written test for phd admission or
for any stipends during phd????

Most of the top Universities/Colleges give admission in Ph.D on the basis of NET/GATE/SLET/JRF scores. Therefore, if you have GATE score then it will definitely help you to get admission in a Ph.D program. Just make sure that you have got a Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University in relevant discipline.

Therefore, just wait for the Ph.D admission notification of the respective University and apply according to it. If you can get admission in a Government University then you will be eligible for stipend during your research work.
