I WANT TO DO PHd IN C.S FROM DISTANCE MODE PLS GUIDE ME?

Am just trying to do Ph.D but have no idea of what it needs to have and want'

First of all you must have a Master's degree in CS with at least 55% marks from a recognized University. If you belong to reserved category then 50% marks in sufficient to make you eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. Most of the distance universities like IGNOU conduct entrance exam for Ph.D admission.

How to get admission

You have to apply when the notification is released by the university on a prescribed application format. After getting admission you have to prepare a synopsis of your thesis on a topic and get it approved by your Ph.D guide. You also have to face interview before getting selected for the Ph.D program. After your topic is approved by the institute, you can start working on it. You have to defend your thesis to get the Ph.D qualification.

Therefore, you have to appear for entrance exam if you have the Master's degree. The candidate who have NET/SLET/GATE/JRF qualification are exempted from entrance exam and they need to appear for direct interview for Ph.D admission. Those who have M.Phil degree or 5 years of professional experience in given field are also exempted from entrance exam.
