Is it necessary to appear in any entrance exam for study correspondence PhD in History being a M.Phil postgraduate?


Hello,
I have completed my M.Phil in History and I want to do PhD now. But I want to do PhD in correspondence. So, is entrance test compulsory for doing correspondence PhD in History?

You have completed M.Phil degree so you are eligible for Ph.D course. Yes, it is necessary to appear entrance exam for Ph.D course in Correspondence.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria.
