Is it necessary to do M.Phil to study PhD? Topics related to Political Science to study in PhD?


Sir,
I am studying B.A. with Political Science.
My aim is to do PhD in future.
So, kindly suggest me some topic related
to my stream which I can do in PhD?
And I would also like to know that M.Phil is necessary for doing PhD?

No, it isn't necessary to complete M.Phil for Ph.D admission. M.Phil is the second option for those candidates who fail to get admission in Ph.D after their master's degree. Hence, if you are a Master's degree holder with at least 55% marks then apply directly for Ph.D admission.

Candidates with NET/SLET/JRF scores don't face much problem in admission but those who don't have these scores have to appear for Ph.D entrance exam. Hence, be prepared for these entrance exams if you want to get admission in a top University.
