Is it necessary to pursue Post Graduation to study PhD course?


Hello
I have done B.com from Delhi University
and have done CS recognized from ICSI.
Am I Eligible for PHd or will have
to pursue Post Graduation Degree First?

Yes most of the Universities ask for Post Graduation with 55% marks for Ph.D admission. Merely a Post Graduation degree is also not enough and you also have to qualify other exams like NET/SLET, ICMR JRF, ICAR JRF, GATE etc for getting admission. Some Universities conduct Ph.D entrance exam for giving admission to Master's Degree holders.

Only a few prestigious Institutes offer Ph.D to meritorious students who have a B.Tech degree with exceptional academic record. Therefore, you must complete Post Graduation with above 55% marks to become eligible for Ph.D program.
