No, SET entrance exam is not necessary to become Higher Secondary Teacher in Kerala. You need to qualify in B.Ed with TET entrance with good marks in order to become Higher Secondary Teacher in Kerala.

Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and this entrance exam conducted by every state separately

Eligibility Criteria for TET exam:-

-Applicants who are Indian are eligible
-Graduates with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university.
-A candidate should have a B.Ed Certificate with 50% from recognized university.
-Final year students are also eligible
-There is no age limit.

Is CTET the same as TET and is it needed to work as a guest lecturer in a hss school. ?
