I have done my pgdca from rajasthan university. After that i did my mca from ptu dep university jhalandar in MCA. Now i want to do Ph.D.. Tell me if it is possible to do so?

After completion of MCA course, you are eligible for Ph.D course but you must qualify in GATE and UGC NET exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria. Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.

Yes, definitely it is possible to get admission in a PH.D programme after completion of MCA with 55% marks from a recognized university.

You need to appear for entrance exam and interview for getting admission. Try to qualify exams like NET/SET in the required subject so that you are eligible for admission in a reputed university.

I have done B. Com from C. C. S University and M. B. A from dep punjab technical university. Can I attach my M. B. A marksheet in any government sector examination??
