I have completed my M.Sc in Forensic Science
I want to study more.....I want to do Ph.D

You can surely apply for admission in Ph.D in Forensic Science if you have a Master's Degree in Forensic Science with 55% marks from a recognized University. If you belong to reserved category then surely you will get relaxation in marks.

If you have qualified NET/SLET then you will be eligible for admission in a Ph.D program without appearing for any other entrance exam.

Universities in India conduct their own entrance exam for giving admission into Ph.D program for those who don't have NET/SLET score. If you haven't qualified NET/SLET then you should apply for the Ph.D entrance exam.

I agree with ajay's comment. Today, the entrance exams for Phd have become mandatory followed by an interview where aspirants will discuss their research area. The procedure for admission in almost every university is same that includes application form filling and submitting to the college/university.
