Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts NET for aspirants who want to be a research assistants and professors in educational institutes. By scoring good marks one can get in to geed colleges and Universities for teaching.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Need to have Master Degree in equivalent subject which he/she is appearing for the examination
• Need to have minimum 55% in academics
• Candidates in final year are also eligible
• Candidates need to submit their degree certificate within one year from the date of this test, otherwise candidate will be disqualified.

It is conducted in two streams,

• Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Agriculture) for “STREAM–A”
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for “STREAM–B”.

• In order to get success in written exam, must study with proper study time table
