I have completed MA English in 2012 and now want to do PhD in distance mode. I would like to know which are the top renowned colleges offering PhD in part time.

There are various universities like Delhi university, IGNOU, JNU, Jadavpur University, etc, who will give you admission in Ph.D in part time mode. Just make sure you have at least 55% marks in MA degree from a recognized university.

Admission will be on the basis of entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. You need to apply, when there is a notification.

Since you have completed your MA degree course in 2012, you are definitely eligible to do Ph.D course through correspondence, there is no problem in it.
You must have scored 55% of marks in your MA course to be eligible for Ph.D course.
