I have secured 58% of marks in M.A.(English) and I would like to study Part Time PhD in English. What are the procedures for it and the fee structure? Kindly tell me about the colleges in Bangalore.

For getting admission you have to apply for admission on a prescribed format when the notification is released by the University. You have to appear for entrance exam plus interview for getting admission. Only candidates with good scores in these stages will get admission. Candidates who have NET/SLET/JRF qualification are eligible for direct interview without appearing for entrance exam. Fee varies from colleges to other according to their status. If you take admission in Government college then your fee will be very less compared to private colleges. Also, those who have NET/SLET/JRF qualification get fellowships during Ph.D which lowers their expenditure.
