Please let me know the procedure for getting my self registered for Phd (Mech. Engg. thermal Stream). Also let me know about the earliest registration dates and probable date of availability of registration forms. Awaiting for the quick response.

To do Ph.D, you should first qualify in the UGC NET examination as most of the Universities require a valid NET scorecard.
The eligibility criteria required to appear in the UGC NET examination is that a candidate must have completed Master's Degree course from a recognised University with 55% of marks.
There is no age criteria for NET examination.
Once qualified in the NET examination, you can take admission to study Ph.D course.
For the registration forms and the date of registration, you must contact to the respective Universities.
