Eligibility criteria for Ph.D course in Mumbai University:-

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria.

If you want to do Ph.D course from Mumbai University, you will have to have to following below mentioned Documents;

> You need to have a PG qualification with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.

> You will have to clear NET/SLET/JRF/GATE exam.

The better you score, the more will be the chances for you to get yourself into better College.

If you want to do Ph.D course from Mumbai University, you will have to have to following below mentioned Documents;

>> Candidates must have passed PG course in relevant stream with minimum 55% marks.

>> The admission into Ph.D Course from Mumbai University done based on the entrance examination that is conducted by the University.

>> You are required to qualify PET (Ph.D Entrance Test) to get admission into PhD course.

>> Candidates who have qualified in SET/ NET/ Junior Research Fellow/ Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering are exempted from appearing for PhD Entrance Test.

>> So candidates who have qualified above examinations, need not give PET Entrance Examination again.

>> Candidates who hold a Teacher Fellowship with UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR/ ICAR or DBT are also exempted from giving PET Entrance Test.

The qualification required to be eligible for the course of PhD is that you must be a Master Degree holder with 55% marks in your Masters Degree.
Then you must crack the NET Examination and you will be able to get admission to the course of PhD from the University of your choice according to the marks that you have obtained in your NET Examination.
Once you clear the NET Examination you can pursue the course of PhD with a Scholarship.
