I have completed M.tech in computer science , what should I go for next M.phill Or PhD??
and where in Punjab?
Does any universities provides direct admissions ?

After completion of M.Tech, you can do PhD in the same subject (Computer Science). No, direct admission to PhD is not possible in any university. Candidates with Master Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for the PhD. Candidates have to sit for an entrance examination and interview for the admission. Those who have qualified NET or SET or GATE examinations shall be exempted from the entrance examination conducted by the university. So it is not possible to get direct admission for PhD in any universities without the examinations mentioned above.
